Limited reuse of PU products – how do we solve it?
There is limited reuse of polyurethane products.
Throughout Europe, there is a lacking infrastructure to collect and recycle these polyurethane post-consumer products.
But the Netherlands have successfully shown that it can be done. For that reason, BPI has been working closely together with the city of Copenhagen with the ambition to implement and create a similar infrastructure to ensure proper recycling in Denmark as well.
