Noise & Vibration Specialist

How long have you been working at BPI and what area do you work in?
I started in April 2021 as a Noise & Vibration Specialist. My main job is to support our sales team and technical department in resolving our customers’ noise and vibration issues. When we have a customer who has a problem in the area, we get in touch with the customer to map out what the situation is in terms of noise problems. R&D then get started on developing a solution. During this development process, I take sound and vibration measurements of the customer’s product – both with and without our solution. This allows us to give the customer an overall picture of how our solution improves the product.

How do you find the culture at BPI?
In previous jobs, I’ve been used to working with a high hierarchical structure and a formal work culture. Here at Bramming Plast-Industri A/S I find a culture with a flat hierarchy. It is a very informal culture where you can make direct contact with decision-makers with new ideas without having to go through a lot of organisational levels first.

What’s the best thing about your job?
I like the fact that no two days are the same: I plan my day after according to which projects are in the pipeline, while there is a lot of development work going on in our R&D department. We are still in the start-up phase of the department and there is plenty of potential. I’m really happy to be part of the developments.

What particular aspect would you highlight to someone who is considering applying for a job at BPI?
If you like working in a company where you want to make your mark and have your finger on your pulse, this is a great place to apply for a job. I have a lot of freedom with responsibility, which allows me to try out a few things. I think that this aspect is a huge plus.
